Privacy policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This policy covers the add-ons published by Single Task Tools, including Sort Paragraphs: Alphabetize & Shuffle for Google Docs™.
The short version
We do not collect, store, share or sell any data. The add-on runs inside your own Google account and your content never reaches us.
What the add-on can access
- Only the document that is open when you use it. Google shows this permission as “View and manage documents that this application has been installed in”.
- It reads the paragraphs or list items you selected, works out the new order and writes them back in that order.
- It reads the language of your Google account to show its menus in your language.
It cannot access your other files, your mail, your contacts or your calendar.
Installing from the Google Workspace Marketplace includes Google’s standard sign-in, which shows the add-on your name and email address. The add-on never reads or stores them; the only permission it uses is access to the document you run it in.
What we collect
Nothing. The add-on is a script that runs on Google’s infrastructure under your account. It makes no requests to our servers or to any third party. We run no analytics, no advertising and no error reporting, and we set no cookies through the add-on.
Sharing and retention
Because we receive no data, there is nothing to share, sell or retain.
Google user data
Sort Paragraphs: Alphabetize & Shuffle’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The add-on’s page in the Marketplace
The add-on’s listing page in the Google Workspace Marketplace uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, so that we can see how many people visit that page and from which countries. That page belongs to Google. Our add-on and this website do not use Google Analytics.
This website
This website is static. It uses no cookies and no tracking scripts. The company that hosts it may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
If you write to us, we use your email address and your message only to answer you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
